My life has been filled with Blessings. When I was 10 years old my Dad rewarded me with my first 35 mm camera and I discovered early the joy of capturing Gods creations on film. I photographed everything from breathtaking landscapes to the colorful people around me. Joe Graham, an older gentleman and patron of the arts, took me under his wing and taught me how to use that amazing piece of equipment and develop my own black and white photos- I was HOOKED! In High School I delved into all kinds of fine art, including photography. At 17, my family relocated to Bozeman, Montana where I attended Montana State University to study photography. In 1987, I was blessed with my first son, becoming a full time mom, capturing his every movement on film. As the years progressed the blessings continued in the form of 8 more children. My camera was always close at hand to capture the fading moments. In 1998, I found myself in the beautiful city of Sheridan, Wyoming, where I opened In His Image Studios living out my dream of becoming a wedding and portrait photographer. In 2003, I was given an opportunity to visit Athens, Greece, and rekindled my dream of photographing people around the world to tell their story.
When I am photographing, I share in the joy that God has brought into a life. It is my pleasure to be invited in. I want my subject to have a piece of art to display on their wall as a reminder of the joy of that time, something to forever reflect back on.
Having returned to Bozeman, I continue to pursue opportunities to be involved in peoples lives and share their special moments. And now I am blessed to be photographing with my oldest son, Jeremiah, and sharing my passion for photography with him. We look forward to sharing in your life.
